"When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe." … Frederic Bastiat

Evil talks about tolerance only when it’s weak. When it gains the upper hand, its vanity always requires the destruction of the good and the innocent, because the example of good and innocent lives is an ongoing witness against it. So it always has been. So it always will be. And America has no special immunity to becoming an enemy of its own founding beliefs about human freedom, human dignity, the limited power of the state, and the sovereignty of God. – Archbishop Chaput

Money Flowing back into Commodities

Note the CCI chart and the nearly vertical lift over the last week. Money is pouring back into RISK ASSETS as the Dollar heads lower and the Fed keeps interest rates so low that money is free. This is the perfect environment for the wild-eyed speculator, especially the hedge fund types, who ADORE LEVERAGE and will shove as much money as they can wrap their fingers around into the commodity sector in anticipation of inflationary price rises.

By the way, just take one look at the following chart of unleaded gasoline if you have the stomach for it. Every time you head to the gasoline pump and fill up, you can bow down and pay homage to the Fed for their "gift" of higher fuel prices. After all, who gives a damn about the average consumer and retiree when Wall Street profits are on the line. That, and the current occupant of the White House's re-election chances....

  1. Dan,
I sense a wee bit of excitement, disapointment, and mostly disgust that your expections are coming true in more than spades. I bet you are an ubelievable poker player. I would like to play a little 7-card stud with you, but would have to minimimize my bank, in order to keep my shirt....LOL

I do my job well. I tell everyone who can slightly understand what is happening, and your charts indicate is solid proof. Better proof is that I worked over 70 hours last week, took last nite to cook my wife dinner. I went to a local safeway to buy a good cut of "filet". I have not eaten that in quite awhile but since my energy level was low, and figured I would need some extra nutrition, I was going to splurge. Wow, $17/lb. All I can say is lookout folks, it is coming. I spoke to the local Safeway manager who said they throw most of the high end meat away, because....No one can afford it. What kind of dilution to Safeway stock do you think is coming? Thank you Dan.

  2. Any denials of currency devaluation (INFLATION) with more to come as the Chinese shift from dollars (Treasuries) to income producing commodity entities should be quieted soon. Unless an all out war is started very soon, the inevitable is starting to build. Long live Turd, and his Blythe and Diamon videos, are hilarious. I love em. Laughing while crying at the same time. Mostly crying as look Dan, Romer, Goosbie, Summers, now Geitner. I missed one, but they are running like rats when the ship is tipping. Only way out is a war. Sorry to be so negative, just feel it. True Americans, Pray for our young soldiers...

  3. Thanks Dan,

This is the best TA blog out there but far. As a old Warrior I see the war clouds and hear the war drums beating. War is evil and only done for money for Wall Street and the banksters.
Gold will shine and protect you in this type of criminal world.

I stand and salute you for what you do for us old war horses. I use my money to try and wake up the sheeple. I give to Ron Paul with the hope we may yet find peace.

I don't believe in god but if any of you do. Pray for Peace. We need all the help we can get.

You Sir make it happen for so many of us. Keep up the good fight.
