Be sure to check out my recent interview with Eric King on the KWN Markets and Metals Wrap by clicking on the following link to listen in.
We discussed the sizeable short covering beginning to occur in the precious metals and the change in sentiment that has been confirmed by the price action along with some key levels to watch in both markets as we move ahead.
Also, be on the lookout for a written interview to be posted there soon.
"When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe." … Frederic Bastiat
Evil talks about tolerance only when it’s weak. When it gains the upper hand, its vanity always requires the destruction of the good and the innocent, because the example of good and innocent lives is an ongoing witness against it. So it always has been. So it always will be. And America has no special immunity to becoming an enemy of its own founding beliefs about human freedom, human dignity, the limited power of the state, and the sovereignty of God. – Archbishop Chaput

Hi Dan,
ReplyDeleteI always read your posts and interviews with interest. Quick question. In your KWN interview you say, "The people [the central banks] leased it to are the bullion houses. The bullion houses then sold it to somebody who wanted physical gold." What do you mean by "bullion houses"? LBMA? Or companies like GoldMoney or BullionVault?
Do you have any link that explains central bank gold leasing because I'm also unclear about that. Typically, if you lease something, you expect to get it back at the end of the lease. How can the parties that leased the gold, then, turn around and sell it if they don't own it?
Thanks again for all your fine work,
Irene
Irene, Bullion Banks are HSBC, JP Morgan at all.
ReplyDeleteWhen they call in the leases any unallocated gold holders will get "Corzined"
Buy physical metal or allocated metal in private vaults like bullionvault.
'A new word! CORZINED. I like IT! BUT REPULSED THAT O Bummer "BUNDLERS" who steal from Farmers are still breathing freely instead of sucking Ventillated prison air is repulsive. It is indeed a great new nickname. How about being cornered by corzine into a den of Morgan Buccaneers. JP was the firm who claimed international 'immunity' by swiping the already stolen Corzined Morgan dollars
