“Woe to the land whose king is a child and whose leaders are already drunk in the morning. Happy the land whose king is a nobleman, and whose leaders work hard before they feast and drink, and then only to strengthen themselves for the tasks ahead”. (Eccl 10: 16-17)

"When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe." … Frederic Bastiat

Evil talks about tolerance only when it’s weak. When it gains the upper hand, its vanity always requires the destruction of the good and the innocent, because the example of good and innocent lives is an ongoing witness against it. So it always has been. So it always will be. And America has no special immunity to becoming an enemy of its own founding beliefs about human freedom, human dignity, the limited power of the state, and the sovereignty of God. – Archbishop Chaput

Trader Dan interviewed at King World News Metals Wrap

Please click on the following link to listen in to my regular weekly radio interview with Eric King over at the KWN Weekly Markets and Metals Wrap. There were some issues with their site being hacked but that appears to have been remedied. You might want to clear the cache on your internet browser if you are using a bookmark to head over that way.

By the way, this week's interview is more of a big picture, long term view of things instead of our normal technical analysis type work that we generally do there. I hope you enjoy it.

  5. I was wondering what was up with KWN. Perhaps truthful and insightful commentary doesn't sit well with "hackers".

  6. It looks like the new “Department of Truth and Politically Correct Propaganda” of the Central Planers decided to hack KWN this week… I hope that KWN can solve this problem soon as I also appreciate very much the information found on this site.

  7. Maybe we should get together and return the favor to the banksters and hack JPM, BAC, WFG, etc. We wouldn't be in a lot of this mess if the banks would just do what they were meant to do... loan money and take deposits providing interest. Why do they need to be speculating in the pm market?
