Keep the Pressure on those Red State Governors to say "NO"
The following article in the Wall Street Journal gives a strong voice to those of us who believe that the States should simply say "NO", to this intrusion on their sovereign rights when it comes to implementing Obamacare.
There is still a very good chance of muking this thing up and preventing a federal takeover of 1/6 of the US economy. If you want to know how health care would fare under such an event, take a good, long hard look at the US Postal Service.
Capretta and Levin: Why ObamaCare Is Still No Sure Thing
The majority of state governors are Republicans, and they have the power to disarm the health-care law.

Upon second consideration, I think I am becoming a supporter of the secessionists.
ReplyDeleteReading the editorial yesterday in the LA Times (see link below), it becomes clear that the red states are the true welfare recipients, and that the blue states excel in almost every category, including having better weed !
We in the blue states are losing our patience with the red states, who embody welfare queens at the state level, getting far more than their share of our tax dollars.
So please secede already, so that those of us in the blue states can hold onto our assets and our sanity !

funny, ya'll are insane and your assets are paper.
Deleteyou can have them.
I guess from the Red state perspective, the money they are ripping off from the Blue states is "paper" - see proof of the Moocher status of Red States below. Since it is worthless, why do the Congressional reps from the Red states keep prostituting themselves by soliciting funds from the EVIL federal government ?
DeleteThis can only be explained by the copious amounts of locoweed being smoked by the red states, who cannot afford the good stuff...
When they awake from their locoweed hangovers, they should consider how the foreign policy and the armed forces of the great states of the New Confederacy will operate. Of course, in these matters they will come running back to Momma's teats.
