These so called mushrooms popped up when gold started going down and dried up when gold went back up. They seem to come out of the woodwork! I happen to read an article yesterday about how it was time to short the miners because the so called gold bubble was burting! These people are truly idiots! Thanks again Dan for your great info! You are the MAN!Super Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15618741438181082963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1708908742323002823.post-75728897031124267582011-08-26T18:10:08.018-07:002011-08-26T18:10:08.018-07:00I was just going to mention Gartman. Damn, seems I read your post just too late...Hi Dan,
Damn, seems I read your post just too late...a guy on another forum has been claiming so convincingly that gold would never reach 2000 within 2 years and that it was now headed to at least 1600 that I took some profit, around 25% of my position at 1780, afraid of a possible head and shoulder, listening to him saying that the bulls were blind and deaf and so convinced that this time, the big bear correction started.
Jeez, these guys are poison, I swear, I just couldn't resist and covered some of my long position, starting to doubt about everything.
Thanks for being a light in the dark.
Many times, thanks.Henrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05972520061783495875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1708908742323002823.post-45266098992284693882011-08-26T14:08:46.975-07:002011-08-26T14:08:46.975-07:00Hey Dan, thanks for all the great info. If you...Hey Dan, thanks for all the great info. If you're referring to the geniuses on CNBC such as Cortes and Gartman, it really is uncanny on gold up days Cortes is nowhere to be found. He's supposed to be the great contrarian. But shorting stuff all the way up and buying all the way down does not make you a good contrarian. It makes you poor.

That said, in regards to Gartman, one needs only look at his HAG.TO (his ETF) to see how well his ideas have performed for his clients.Bradleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17121486214478741932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1708908742323002823.post-4469818610310293982011-08-26T13:29:36.657-07:002011-08-26T13:29:36.657-07:00Thanks Dan, are these wild and wooly times, or wha...Thanks Dan, are these wild and wooly times, or what?

Gold is like mercury in a thermometer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
